Description Los Ureña, our new Costa Rican coffee, is the perfect autumnal brew, tasting like toffee apple and butterscotch — made to be drunk by the mug.
The initial aroma reminded me of butterscotch. It was sweet and finished with a lime acidity as it cooled. 11.5g coffee to 200g water at 200°F. 20 clicks on the Comandante.
Quite acidic, which I tend to like, but a bit overroasted for my taste (might be due to a bit finer grind, although had the same grind for different coffee & same recipe today and it was just great)
